I am a lecturer at the University of Wrocław, where I obtained a PhD title in musicology and at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław. I also conduct classical guitar class at the Music School of the First Grade in Witowice. However, the core of my interest are research, namely research on musical culture of 17th and 18th centuries, music in Silesia and Poland in both court and church centers and in particular lute and ensemble music. I deal with source studies, music philology and music editing as well as issues of art's patronage.

I received several prestigious scholarships, including Minister of Science and Higher Education (twice), President of Wrocław, Lanckoroński Foundation, Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst. I am doing research in libraries and archives in different parts of Europe and the results I publish in recognized scientific journals and publishing series in Poland and abroad. I also actively take part in scientific national and international conferences, as well as get involved in teaching and artistic.
