Doctor of Humanities. His research interests lie in the musical culture of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries music in Silesia and in Poland, the court and church centers and in particular lute and ensemble music, artistic patronage, source studies
and the reception of early music issues.
He is associated with Wrocław academic centers: the Institute of Musicology at the University of Wrocław and Early Music Department at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music.
